Sauls Second Birthday
Sue, Taylor and I went to San Jose in July to help celebrate Sauls 2nd birthday. He's changing fast now. Walking, talking (favorite word is no) and getting into everything. Looks healthy but still not eating like he should. Hints of getting better like feeding himself and more variety. Taylor was wonderful the whole trip for the first extended time away from Mom and Dad. Not one "I want my Mommy".

Easter Weekend
Had a good time starting with my Thursday birthday that the CA. daughter and grandson came to Beaver Dam for. It was the longest birthday celebration I ever had. Had to share some of it with granddaughter, Taylor, who turns 8. Sara and Saul enjoyed the snow which set a new season record of 103.3 inches for B.D. Here's some visual aids.
Saul checking out his first ( I think) snow. Not too exciting yet at 20 months.
Sat. afternoon was swimming at the Y. Here's Taylor taking the plunge.
Sara and Saul getting wet.
Jake from Kenosha
The grandkids from San Jose, Kenosha and Beaver Dam

Brrrrrrrrrrrrr !
Snow coming tonight which will set a new record for total snow for a season. Current record is 76". Snow coming should put us close to 80". All with the temp running 0 to -10 the last few days. Spent a long weekend in Kenosha helping the Suttons remodel their "new" old house. Complete kitchen gutting and lots of floor sanding and wall painting. A friend was there installing tile in the kitchen and other areas. Gregs brother and wife were there helping too. Seven of us slept in their little apt. And Jake. See Kates' blog for pictures.

Hammer-Roedl Christmas 1/5/08
Got together for our annual food fest this weekend. Very warm and foggy all day but all made it here and home again with no problem.
